As an admirer of Hayao Miyazaki's work, I'd like to take the time on my blog to push for his humanitarian endeavors. Currently, Miyazaki and Pixar animation studios are holding an auction event at Pixar studios to raise money to save Sayama Forest on the outskirts of Tokyo, Japan. Sayama Forest was the inspiration for Miyazaki's classic animation film 'My Neighbor Totoro'.
